Headquartered at the foothills of the Blue Mountains, in Heppner, Oregon, Windwave is a community driven, locally-owned fiber-optic communications company. Serving several regional markets in Eastern Oregon, and built on a backbone of secure, in-ground facilities, Windwave's network leverages over 1,000 route miles of company-owned or controlled optical fiber. Our investment in next generation technologies positions us to be the premier provider of Wavelength solutions throughout Eastern Oregon.
Building the future of rural communities through integrity, reliability, and cutting-edge technology.
Our Vision is to provide access to innovative fiber technology solutions for businesses and organizations in rural and underserved areas, promote advancements in health and education, and drive economic development in order to improve the lives of our friends, neighbors, and communities.
In business since 2004, Windwave is an Oregon corporation operating as an OPUC-certified competitive telecommunications and internet access service provider. Windwave is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Inland Development Corporation, an Oregon nonprofit corporation dedicated to providing advanced broadband facilities and services to schools, hospitals, and government entities in underserved areas. Windwave's relationship with Inland means that 100% of our after-tax profits are reinvested into the communities we serve.
Windwave's strength is the design, implementation, support, and flexibility of our fiber-optic network. Our existing network provides us a significant advantage over the competition, due to our ability to design and install custom technology solutions quickly and efficiently.
We are dedicated to specializing in robust answers to the problems of underserved, geographically-challenged environments, for a client base of commercial and enterprise users in a unique region. We design solutions based on your company's network specifications, confident in our ability to improve and increase your capabilities and efficiency.
